  • J.M: Hello I done a ouija bored at my mates house and I'm a bit worried of something bad will happen to me after what can i do to prevent anything from happening?
  • PM Org Admin: JM, why exactly are you worried? Did you attempt to summon something? Would you be equally worried if you'd been using a deck of tarot cards?
  • J.M: Becauise apperantly it can attach evil spirits so you and they can haunt you... && no
  • PM Org Admin: I believe that you're basing your assumptions on the Hollywood portrayal of Ouija boards and nothing more.
  • They are a tool, like any other. Made by a children's game manufacturer, just like most mass produced tarot cards, that are made of laminated card stock, the ouija boards are card board... what's scary about cardboard?
  • J.M: Yeah but im scared because it might be just a "childrens game" but it can contact the dead like i was just worried if i'd be haunted or something?
  • PM Org Admin: Yeah, I'm thinking that Haunting is the Least of your worries at this point.

I think the nonfluffy pagans should have like a weekly contest of who can find the most bullshit fluffy image in the pagan, wiccan/wicca, or witchcraft/witch tag that week and the first person to submit a particular image gets credit for it and whoever wins the contest is…

I am strongly tempted if I could figure out how it would work.

I NEED OPINIONS PEOPLE.

You should be a judge, seeing as you put the idea forward.

It should go on a monthly or weekly basis, a side blog could be started with a submission feature, and people find these photos and posts, screen shot them/download them. Then submit to the blog.

I dunno, that’s how I see it in my head.

I had originally been thinking, like…like the pagan version of TMI Tuesday.

But a central blog might be more organized.

Instead of attacking people, don't you think it would be better to explain to them what you believe they're doing wrong? You can't expect to shed light on people if you're insulting them... like ok it's so funny to point at people because they're misinformed. But wouldn't the better solution be to inform the ignorant? Just a thought

Tried that, didn’t like it. I’ve grown tired of trying to reason with people or with trying to educate them on things, there are plenty of other ppl on tumblr who have explained the appropriation aspects, etc so, why not just leave that up to them. The topic has been covered countless times, if ppl are still going to be asstastic about it, I’d rather sit back, point, laugh and yeah, ridicule. The blog is called Un-ethical treatment of asshats for a reason. It’s because we’re not NICE about the things that we’re going to point out.

I smell a very unhappy person with nothing better to do with their time.

Yep, that’s exactly what we are, I’m so glad you could offer some armchair psychoanalysis for me.

decided to combine the two

I smell fluffy bullshit with just a hint of cultural appropriation

Are you aware of how much of an asshat that Pagan Soccer Mom is? We can cite specific examples.

Please do! I’d love to hear what the dirt is

A FB page named “G*psy’s Melting Pot,” after numerous attempts by many people has refused to remove the racial slur (g*psy) from their name. Please take the time to report them for usage of a racial slur.
